Who runs PDF-IO
PDF-IO is operated by Fortytwo Solutions FZE, Business Center, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, represented by its managing director Thor Weinreich. Full company details are in the imprint. For privacy questions, use the contact form.
Your files
All PDF-IO tools process files inside your web browser. Your documents and images are never uploaded to our servers or anyone else's, and we have no way of seeing them. When you close the page, nothing of your file remains with us, because nothing ever reached us.
Hosting
The website is delivered by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address and browser type, and protects the site against abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit which pages, from which countries, and on which devices. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes your IP address to do this. We don't send any information about your files to Google Analytics.
Advertising
PDF-IO is free because it shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services, and manage personalised ads in Google's ad settings.
Your consent
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before analytics and advertising cookies are used. Until you agree, only non-personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time through the privacy settings link that Google's consent message adds to the page.
Stored on your device
PDF-IO saves one setting in your browser's local storage: whether you chose the light or dark theme. It never leaves your device.
Contact form
The contact form is provided by Tally. What you enter there is sent to Tally and to us so we can reply. See Tally's privacy policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, and to object to its processing. Because we don't receive your files and don't run user accounts, we usually hold no personal data about you beyond contact-form messages. To use your rights, contact us.
